Reading the schedule
Open a schedule from the competition page’s Schedule button. It is a single running order for the whole competition, in time order, and it keeps itself up to date while it is open.
Find your team on it
Section titled “Find your team on it”Use the Find a team, program, or division box at the top. Type at least two letters and pick a result:
- A team shows just that team’s performances, including the ones it has already done.
- A program (a gym) shows all of that gym’s teams.
- A division shows every team in that age division.
Scrolled down? The small header that stays at the top has a search icon that jumps you back to the box.
Filters and My teams
Section titled “Filters and My teams”Tap Filters to narrow by Level, Age, Size, or Date. Each value you pick shows as a chip under the box; tap a chip’s × to remove it, or Clear all to reset. The button also tells you how many filters are on, so a narrowed list never looks like the whole schedule.
If you follow at least one team, a ★ My teams toggle sits under the search. Tap it to see only your teams. Your filters are remembered for that competition on this device, so you can close the app and come back to the same view.
Reading a row
Section titled “Reading a row”Each performance is one row:
- The time on the left. If the hall is running behind, the printed time is struck through and the new estimated time is shown instead.
- The team name, with the gym and its location underneath. Teams you follow are larger and carry a ★ next to the name.
- The division and the hall.
- A status chip on the right: ON DECK when the team is next up, PERFORMING while it is on the floor, and Performed once it is done. Nothing shows while a performance is still a while away.
On a multi-day competition, each day starts with a label like Sat, Sep 12 and Day 1 of 2. Near the top, Showing N of M performances tells you how many of the competition’s performances your current view includes.
Block and awards rows
Section titled “Block and awards rows”Two kinds of rows have no team. A row with the small heading Block is a warm-up or session block for a division, and Awards is an awards ceremony. Each shows its division, hall, and time. They are there so you know what is happening between performances; there is nothing to tap on them.
What happened earlier
Section titled “What happened earlier”To keep the list on what’s next, performances more than 15 minutes in the past are hidden during a live competition. A centered line says, for example, 4 earlier performances hidden with two links:
- Show earlier reveals the previous 15 minutes; tap again for 15 more.
- Show all reveals every past performance and stays on for every competition on this device until you tap Hide.
Past rows are dimmed, but the team name stays easy to read. When you pick a single team in the search, its past performances are shown automatically.
Delays
Section titled “Delays”A strip above the list shows each hall that is running today with On time or the number of minutes it is behind, based on reports from fans at the venue. Those minutes are already included in the estimated times on the rows.
To report one yourself, tap a performance row to expand it, then tap They’ve started or They’ve ended. You need to be signed in. Reports are combined, so one tap does not move the whole schedule by itself.
More on the expanded row
Section titled “More on the expanded row”Tapping a row expands it. Depending on the row and your account you will see:
- Remind me Plus, a switch that sends you a notification 10 minutes before that performance. It reads Reminder set once it is on. If your phone has notifications turned off for On Deck, the row says Enable notifications to get a reminder.
- Follow or Unfollow for that team.
- View Results once that team’s division has official results.
- Show competitors Plus, which highlights every team in that division and numbers them in running order (for example 2 of 8). Hide competitors turns it off.
Signed out?
Section titled “Signed out?”Signed out, the schedule shows today’s and earlier performances but holds back upcoming ones: a Sign in to see future performances button stands in for them. This protects young athletes by keeping exact future times and halls behind a sign-in. Create a free account to see everything.
Keeping it fresh
Section titled “Keeping it fresh”The schedule refreshes itself about once a minute while it is open, so delays and late changes arrive without you doing anything. If your connection drops you will see Reconnecting… showing the last update, and the last good schedule stays on screen rather than going blank.
